Cherrytree #Blues

With puppets drama, and music.
For everyone from the age of 5 and the whole family.

On a small farm in the north of Italy there is an old cherry tree. Named Felice.

Between chickens and hay bales, the siblings Tonino and Sofia tell the story of their grandfather.

A story about tractors and animals, cherry pit spitting and climbing trees. About disgruntled excavator drivers who have to move cherry trees out of the way; A goose that thinks it is a lap dog; and about the unique relationship between grandfather and grandson. A story about remembering, but also about saying goodbye.

Inspired by the children’s book “My Grandfather Was a Cherry Tree” by Angela Nanetti, as well as several years of experience as grandchildren, Flying Fox Theatre brings this beautiful tale to the stage for tree climbers of all ages.
